The team made it safely to New Orleans last night from Austin. We had a great time in Austin and would like to thank all of the organizations we volunteered with for there hospitality. We leave each city inspired by these full time volunteers who day in and day out give of themselves. This country would not be what it is without you all. The CTS team will be volunteering with Operation Helping Hands in New Orleans, LA for the next few days. This will mark The Call to Serve’s third trip to Nola. It’s been great to see the city come back to life after Katrina. Below is a video highlighting our time in Austin. Check it!

Hola Followers! Today as in Sunday, we traveled long and far. Black Beauty and White Stallion (RV nicknames), galloped 11 hours into New Orleans, Louisiana.We are staying at the Hope Haven House until Saturday morning and will be adventeering (adventure-volunteering) with Operation Helping Hands. Enjoy this awesome video by our one and only Mandi Luis. She’s good at what she does and what she does is film. Thanks Mandi.

It’s still snowing in Pittsburgh. The RV aka The Warrior is surrounded by 2.5 feet of snow. We cleaned her up a bit yesterday. Enjoy!

New Website is here!
The new website has officially launched as you can see. A big thank you goes out to John F. from Kickstart Media. He is extremely talented and gave us a great deal on this new site. Check him out at kickstartmedia.org . With the new website, we also have new tee shirts (thanks Brad). The tees are currently being printed by our friends at ClockWise Tees (the best screen printers in Pittsburgh). You can order your shirt today by clicking here. We are still making minor changes to the site particularly with the volunteer calendar. It will be jam packed with service opportunities in the next few days so make sure you stay posted. Great Day for CTS

It’s OFFICIAL! We are now a 501(c)(3) organization. This is great news for The Call to Serve. We have come a long way. We would like to thank Mr. Babyak for all of his help getting us set up. We will also be heading back to Rocky Vine Camp in Missouri mid-August to help with service projects around camp. We are looking to take high school students around the area. If anyone is interested, please contact us at adam@thecalltoserve.org
