Hey everyone! I was able to volunteer at the Special Olympics bball tourney hosted at the University of Pittsburgh today.  I had a great experience watching all the participants show their basketball skills while enjoying some friendly competition.  I have always been involved in organized sports and I have seen my fair share of overbearing parents in the stands;  it was refreshing to witness parents cheering on there kids without putting pressure on them to perform.  Talking with the kids all day was truly an uplifting and overall fun way to spend my Sunday.

Enjoy the pictures from the tournament!

Whenever one of them would score, they were so worried ab0ut celebrating and congratulating their teammate – the other team would score while they were busy hugging each other.  There was no shortage of high fives or fist pumps on this court!
