Sorry for the lack of video posts lately. We’ve been traveling a lot and don’t have the best of service here in rural Missouri. Enjoy the short video clip of our time in Nola.

Black Beauty and White Stallion (RV nicknames), galloped 11 hours into New Orleans, Louisiana. We are staying at the Hope Haven House until Saturday morning and will be adventeering (adventure-volunteering) with Operation Helping Hands. Enjoy this awesome video by our one and only Mandi Luis. She’s good at what she does and what she does is film. Thanks Mandi.

p.s. The Call to Serve team would like to wish all of their Dads a Happy Father’s Day.

Hello Friends. We’ve been doing some crazy adventeering (adventure-volunteering). It’s what we do best! Yesterday, we worked with a woman named Lois. Her husband passed away ten years ago and she has got into some hoarding. We spent the afternoon helping Ms. Lois clean her apartment in order for her to live a safer life while remaining independent. Here is a photo of us helping Ms. Lois. She thought she was in the wrong house after we finished. Thank you to Love Inc. for doing this day in and day out. You guys are awesome.

A Taste

Well, we’ve made it to our 2nd location- Charleston, SC. We spent most of the day yesterday driving. It took about ten hours from Virginia Beach to Charleston. We had a few setbacks including our electric cap falling off and a few missed turns but that’s part of the adventure. Adam is currently at RV Camping World in North Charleston getting a replacement fridge in the rental RV since it died. (Shout out to Dave Kunes for getting us a timely appointment). The rest of the team is with Andrew volunteering with Rural Missions on St. John’s Island. We’re a day behind on videos and pictures due to limited internet access. Why can’t everywhere just have free wi-fi?

Our team has become a tight knit family in only a few days. Not only are we serving others on this trip, but we’re learning what it means to serve one another. Our tag-line for the trip is “Be Flexible” and we’re thrilled that everyone is going above and beyond that. Keep following Black Beauty and White Stallion on the road (RV nicknames!). Black Beauty has been getting a lot of looks and honks. We’re a getting a lot of interest and support at pretty much every gas station we stop at.

That’s all for now…Thanks for all your support and kindness as you follow our journey. Please tell your friends. And check out our store above. Enjoy the video below. It’s a small taste of the adventure thus far.

Love in Motion at M.E. Cox

Yesterday, we spent the afternoon entertaining the elderly at M.E. Cox Center. It was unexpected and presented a new challenge for the CTS team. We had to dig into our bag of creativity and entertain for a few hours. Jokes, stories, music, and some spontaneous dance moves were brought out. It was a change of pace from the entertainment side of things. We actually were told to tone down our energy a bit. It was a great experience and we were happy we could seRVe the elderly. Enjoy this short video of us singing, “It’s a wonderful world.”

Pictures coming soon….

We can’t thank everyone enough who has helped achieved where we are today. Without all of you, none of this would be possible. A special thank you goes out to Drink Give. Do Good. for hooking us up with a ton of water and energy drink. We’d also like to thank These Pistons Give Life for hooking us up with custom designed t-shirts. You guys rock!

This was our first year being an affiliate charity with the Pittsburgh Marathon. We had a great time and were able to fund-raise over $2500.00. We can’t thank all of our runners and volunteers who made this possible. We are looking forward to an even bigger team next year. Thanks to all who participated and congratulations on your runs. Enjoy the photos.
