Adam Kunes, a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, runs his own media company called Rewind
Memories. Before completing his communications degree, Adam participated in the Semester at Sea program, a 100-day cruise around the world. This experience opened Adam’s eyes to a new perspective of the world and what it meant to truly want to reach out and give to others. His participation in many service-oriented trips inspired the creation of The Call to Serve. Adam hopes that his efforts will allow others to realize that community service can be fun and that the opportunities to volunteer are endless.

Quote: “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” -Steve Jobs

Currently a senior at the University of Pittsburgh, Andrew Blythe is working toward attaining his bachelor’s degreein athletic training. He became interested in this field while playing rugby and
seeing the number of injuries he sustained and witnessing firsthand the amazing reparative properties of the human body. Andrew presently works with the University of Pittsburgh wrestling team.
Last summer, Andrew volunteered for the CHWC as a road warrior traveling throughout the Eastern United States. The CHWC’s efforts included revitalizing communities and beautifying homes for the elderly, and assisting the disabled and those unable to afford much needed repairs. This experience inspired Andrew to continue promoting goodwill by participation in The Call to Serve and performing services for those in need.
