About
Dear Friend,
The Call to Serve is a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching young adults the power of public service through local and national service trips. Partnering with a variety of organizations, volunteers from the Call to Serve (CTS) provide service to those in need. As an ecumenical organization, founded by Adam Kunes and Andrew Blythe, The Call to Serve welcomes all volunteers ready to make a difference in the lives of people.
Service trips offered by CTS provides a unique opportunity for college-aged students to develop new insights into their own historical and global awareness and act upon those insights inspiring them to become productive and compassionate citizens of the world. CTS has made a direct impact on local communities through its multi-state RV service tour. In the summer of 2009, CTS dispatched an RV of student volunteers to New York City, NY, Dutzow, MO, New Orleans, LA, Houston, TX, Phoenix, AZ, and San Diego, CA providing service to organizations, which varied from disaster relief efforts to animal shelters.
While on the road, CTS documented their journey to share their story and raise awareness for the mission of The Call to Serve, but also encourage others to participate in upcoming trips. The documentary truly captures what CTS is all about and what interested students can expect.
Not only is The Call to Serve involved on a national level, but also on a local level. CTS facilitates volunteering for people of all ages. Volunteer opportunities can be found on the websites event calendar.
We appreciate you taking the time to visit the website. If you have any questions on how you can get involved, please contact us. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Adam Kunes (co-Founder) Andrew Blythe (co-founder)
